Why BOG Crossed These Two
BOG Seeds has always worked inside a tight genetic box. L.S.D. and Sour Bubble are both core genetics from that vault, and Sour L.S.D. is what happens when you pair them with intention. The goal was straightforward: take the fast-flowering, cerebral kick of L.S.D., layer it with the resin production and sour terp profile of Sour Bubble, and land on something that hits hard without the long flower window. BOG got there.
What Each Parent Brings to the Cross
BOG L.S.D. comes from LifeSaver and NYC Diesel. It flowers in 56 to 63 days, which is fast for an indica-dominant plant. The high is trippy and spacious, not couch-lock. It's a creeper. Resin is moderate but clean.
BOG Sour Bubble is the flavor and resin anchor. It's where the puckering sour terps live. Resin production is heavier. The effect is more grounded, body-forward. Flower time is longer, but the cross pulls the L.S.D. timeline down.
The cross splits the difference. You get the speed and headspace of L.S.D. with the resin and flavor of Sour Bubble. THC lands between 18 and 22 percent, which is solid without being a one-note potency play.
Phenotype Variation and What to Expect
BOG selected this cross for homogenous expression. That means you are not running a phenotype lottery. Most plants will express similarly: structure, resin, aroma, finish time. This is not a complaint. For intermediate growers, consistency is a feature. You can dial in the garden once and run it again without surprises.
That said, minor variation will exist. Some plants may lean slightly more toward the Sour Bubble side, heavier resin and slower finish. Others may express more L.S.D. phenotype, faster and more cerebral. Neither is wrong. Both are usable.
Finding the Keeper
Start with structure. Sour L.S.D. should show compact branching and tight internodes. Stretch is minimal. If a plant is leggy early, it's not the cross; it's your environment.
Watch resin development. By week three of flower, you should see heavy trichome coverage on the sugar leaves. If resin is thin by week four, cull it. This cross is bred for bag appeal.
Aroma is the third filter. The sour terps should be present by mid-flower. Pungent, acidic, slightly funky. If a plant smells generic or muted, it's not expressing the Sour Bubble genetics. Cut it.
Finish time is reliable. Most plants will be ready between day 56 and day 63. Amber trichomes will be visible. Do not run it longer looking for extra weight. The cannabinoid profile peaks in that window.
In the Garden
Sour L.S.D. is straightforward. It does not demand special feeding or environmental tricks. Moderate yields, consistent structure, no pest or disease susceptibility that stands out. Flower time is predictable. If you have run BOG genetics before, you know the baseline. This cross performs.
The Experience
The high is hybrid in the truest sense. The L.S.D. side comes first: spacious, trippy, creative. It does not lock you down. The Sour Bubble body component arrives after 15 to 20 minutes, a warm relaxation that does not erase the headspace. The sour flavor is present on the exhale, tart and lingering. Smoke is smooth. Resin content means the joint or bowl will hold ash.
About This Release
These seeds were acquired between 2012 and 2020 as breeding stock and genetic preservation. They were never offered publicly, never shelved as retail inventory. They were stored correctly and held in the vault for a specific reason: to maintain access to BOG genetics at a time when the breeder's output was sporadic and the market was unpredictable.
Legislation is changing. What can be legally sold and shipped is narrowing. This release is happening now because the window is closing. Once these seeds are gone, they will not be restocked. No new run. No second batch. If you want Sour L.S.D. from BOG, this is the only opportunity.
That is not hype. That is the situation.
