The result is a slightly different expression than the straight BX1 cross: the hybrid BX1 adds variation from an additional cross point, giving this pack a broader pheno range than the cleaner F1 version. Golden Goat's Terpene Legacy
Golden Goat—an accidental cross from Woody from Wichita's Kansas garden—carries a terpene signature unlike anything in the OG/Kush tradition: tropical, pineapple, sweet-sour, and spiced. Archive Seed Bank (TerpZ) is a Portland-based breeding program built almost entirely on the precision selection of proprietary cuts. TerpZ acquired the Face Off OG #4—one of the most resin-dense OG phenotypes ever documented—and used it as the structural backbone for the entire Archive catalog. Rather than chasing trends, the program spent years backcrossing Face Off OG to lock in traits, then used the stabilized BX1 as the male input across dozens of crosses. The result is a catalog where every release shares a genetic foundation while expressing differently depending on the female side. Crossing it against Face Off OG BX1 hybrid gave TerpZ a sativa-leaning input on top of one of the most stable OG structural bases in breeding.
