Freeborn Selections – OG Kushumpeng F4 #4 {REG} [10pk]
GKUSHUMPENG is FireOG x FloridaOGbagseed x Jaro. Similar lineage to MoonMountainKush but the “OG Jaro” male was bred with the Fire OG instead of the FloRida OG. I selected it to have less of the Jaro influence and instead grows all OGKush plants with some having more round buds and the clear clean chemical OG smell, and others being more pointy and slightly more leafy with the deep nasty funky OG smell with more acrid earthy smells. There are no smells outside of the OG Kush realm, just variations on the theme. This is another branch of OG breeding that I’ve done a good amount of work on, the others being the PK/SkyCuddler work and the MoonMountainKush/OGOGJARO stuff. Unlike those, the focus here was making a classic OGKush from seed. I’m sure with a little work people can improve it further for their own preferences but at F4 it is true breeding for green gassy OG Kush type plants with the great flavor and potency we want. It was also fully stable sexually in testing so it’s an improvement on the original OG clones in that regard.

nThis is a great breeding tool as well if you’re looking for males to use on OG or other plants when you want a male that will bring nothing but OG Kush with improved stability.

nWhen I made the OGKUSHUMPENG F4 lines I bred various “gas” clones with them to see how the outcrosses would come out. The MotorBreath 15 was popular here for a while before the purple craze came back again because it’s the definition of gassy buds and it grows and flowers well. I had read that MB15 doesn’t breed well so I didn’t have high hopes but when I grew it–in this case–that wasn’t true. The plants were very consistent and high quality. The top colas were longer than the pure OGKUSHUMPENG plants and the resin was a little stiffer. Otherwise there weren’t any big differences, though some did have a little Chemdog influence giving them a slightly different smell and flavor than the straight OG plants.

nThat said, these are all gassy green buds and grew more easily for me than OG or Chemdog and were all sexually stable. This is a great breeding tool as well if you’re looking for males to use on OG or other plants when you want a male that will bring nothing but OG Kush with improved stability
