T.H. Seeds was founded in Amsterdam in 1993 by Adam and Doug and is one of the world’s oldest and most respected cannabis seed companies. Over more than 25 years, T.H. Seeds has built a reputation for producing high-quality, award-winning cannabis genetics.
In 1993, the founders opened C.I.A. Cannabis in Amsterdam—a Cannabis Information Center that became a world-famous seed shop. It later became home to Hemp Works, the first hemp store in Europe and, according to Robert C. Clarke (Marijuana Botany, Hashish), “the epicenter of the cannabis universe.” It was also the birthplace of the hemp clothing brand HoodLamb. From this hub, thousands of people from around the world were introduced to cannabis and its many benefits.
For more than two decades, T.H. Seeds has been part of something larger than breeding exceptional strains. The company has played a creative and influential role in the transition of cannabis from underground counterculture to mainstream acceptance. T.H. Seeds has also been closely involved with the High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam since its early years.
For more than 20 years, the Cannabis Cup served as a global gathering point—a “Woodstock of weed”—bringing together growers, patients, and enthusiasts every Thanksgiving in Amsterdam. Visitors from around the world came to celebrate cannabis, sample top-tier genetics, attend seminars, and share in the culture.
Led by “Sagemasta” Adam Dunn, T.H. Seeds became known for unforgettable contributions to Cannabis Cup events, including the Trichome Bong Hit Challenge, the Darkstar Rocket, giant joint showcases, hemp fashion shows, and the Fly Smoke High bus tour. In 2005, they created one of the most memorable moments in Cannabis Cup history with the T.H. Seeds Weed Leaf Blower.
Over the years, T.H. Seeds has attracted a global following that includes celebrities and musicians such as Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, Woody Harrelson, Raekwon, Redman, B-Real, Puff Daddy, Flava Flav, Eminem, Pendulum, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Jane’s Addiction, and UB40. Many became fans of the brand and were often seen enjoying iconic strains like MK-Ultra and S.A.G.E.
T.H. Seeds has built its reputation by focusing on quality, flavor, and potency.
