The Heritage of
“Clean Medicine”
A Benefit for Odie Diesel
For over three decades, Odie Diesel has been a silent pillar of the cannabis community. From the early medical days in Oregon to the global stage of TGA Genetics, Odie’s hands have stabilized some of the most therapeutic genetics in existence. Now, the community he helped build is coming together to support him.

The Engine Behind TGA
More Than Just a “Front Man”
During the legendary era of TGA Genetics, Odie served as a Head Breeder, providing the technical expertise and genetic library that defined “The Dank.” While many elite cultivars were released under a shared label, the community knows the truth: Odie was the engine.
He brought the world Quantum Kush (the first to regularly break 30% THC), Dr. Who, and Nurse Jackie—strains bred not for hype, but for heavy-duty medical relief.

His Brand, His Legacy
Homegrown Natural Wonders
After years of quietly powering the genetics behind TGA, Odie stepped out on his own and founded Homegrown Natural Wonders (HGNW)—a seed company built on the same principles he’s held his entire life: organic methods, regular seeds, and genetics bred for real medicinal value.
HGNW represents the continuation of everything Odie stands for. Every release carries his signature approach—meticulous pheno hunting, no shortcuts, no feminized seeds, and a deep respect for the plant’s natural breeding potential. The lineup includes new, original crosses alongside refined versions of his most beloved legacy cuts.
For Odie, HGNW isn’t just a brand; it’s the next chapter of a three-generation family tradition—clean medicine, grown with intention, shared with the community.
Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards
The “Triple Crown” of Oregon Medical History
In the early years of the Oregon Medical Marijuana Program (OMMP), Odie didn’t just grow—he gathered data for patients. He won the Oregon Medical Cannabis Awards “Triple Crown,” taking 1st Place Overall three years in a row:
He proved that organic, regular-seed genetics could outperform anything else in the garden.
Genetic Purity & Community First
Guardian of the Plant
Odie has always been a guardian of the plant. By refusing to follow the trend of feminized or “corporate” seeds, he ensured that the medicine patients grow today remains as strong and pure as the plants his father grew before him. He is a man who famously passed along elite cuts for free to anyone donating crops to patients in need.
Today, we return that generosity.

100% Organic
Clean medicine from clean soil. No shortcuts. No synthetics—ever.
Three Generations
A family legacy of stewardship stretching across decades of Pacific Northwest growing.
Regular Seeds Only
Non-feminized genetics preserving the plant’s natural vigor and breeding potential.
In Their Own Words
Why This Matters
A Few Words from Odie
On November 21st, I woke up bleeding internally from esophageal varices and was rushed to the ER, where I spent six days in the hospital. Since then, I haven’t been able to work.
In January, I went back in for another scope, and doctors placed seven more bands on the veins in my esophagus, but on January 21st, those bands failed, and I started bleeding again, sending me back to the ER for three days in the ICU and three more days in a regular room.
My doctors have told me I can’t return to work until at least the beginning of April, and I have another scope scheduled soon. I’m fortunate that insurance is covering most of my medical costs, but I’ve fallen months behind on rent, utilities, and basic living expenses.
Any support you can offer during this time means more than I can say and will go directly toward helping me stay afloat while I focus on healing. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you’re able to give.
A Few Words from James
I don’t do this often, but every time I ask this community for help, you show up in a way that leaves me humbled and blown away. It genuinely makes me feel good to do good, and today I’m asking you to join me in that.
A breeder of mine and a friend of ours, Odie, has found himself in a situation that I can’t get him out of on my own. He’s helped build this community for years; now it’s our turn to have his back.
I’m opening benefit auctions, and every dollar raised will go directly to Odie—100%. I’ll kick things off by loading up roughly $5,000–$7,000 worth of packs, and I’ll continue to take in packs to auction as they come in. If you’d like to donate packs for the benefit, please use the link below, and we’ll get your donation posted in the auction rotation.
Thank you, as always, for showing what this community is really about.
