Rain Bird F4 is best run indoors or in a dry outdoor climate with good airflow; expect moderate stretch, so top early and use support if buds get heavy. Keep humidity low in flower and feed moderately, since its Sour Diesel x Cookie/Jahgoo background suggests vigor but mold sensitivity.

Aficionado Seeds put together Rain Bird F4 seeds from a Sour Diesel x Cookie/Jahgoo background, and this is the F4 generation, meaning the breeder has stabilized this line through several rounds of selection. That kind of work locks in traits, so what you get is a hybrid with a real pedigree, not a first-cross gamble.
The Sour Diesel side brings the sour-diesel fuel note and that sativa-leaning energy under the hood, while the Cookie/Jahgoo side adds the doughy GSC sweetness and a citrus, floral edge. Together they land on limonene, caryophyllene and linalool, which explains the citrus-earthy-floral aroma and the relaxed, euphoric, happy, serene effect profile.
This is regular seed at F4, so expect a tighter spread than you'd see on an F1, but there's still room for variation. Look for phenos that lean into the sour-diesel fuel funk with a tighter structure, and others that pull more doughy-sweet with looser branching. The keepers will show that citrus-sweet nose loud, hold up under moderate stretch, and pack on weight without falling apart in humidity.
Flower time runs 7 to 8 weeks, yield is rated high, and difficulty is easy. Expect moderate stretch, so top early and have support ready for heavy colas, keep humidity down in flower, and feed moderate rather than heavy given the mold sensitivity in this background.
Worth knowing: if you don't want to run humidity control in flower, skip this one, the Sour Diesel x Cookie/Jahgoo background is vigorous but mold-sensitive and needs airflow to finish clean.
The window: federal law under Section 781 shuts down interstate cannabis seed sales in November 2026, and when that hits, Seeds Here Now stops selling seeds entirely. Sixteen years of building relationships with breeders like Aficionado comes down to what moves before that date, and packs like Rain Bird F4 don't get restocked once they're gone. If you want this cross for your own pheno hunt or breeding room, this is the batch. Grab it now, lock the genetics in, don't wait on this one.
