Green Fire Genetics crossed Zelato #17 x Zelato #38 to make Elato F2 seeds, an F2 cross that widens the Zelato gene pool for anyone willing to dig through it. This is a pheno hunter's pack, twelve regular seeds giving you a real spread of what Zelato can throw. If you want a uniform, predictable plant, this isn't it, and that's the point.
Both parents come from the Zelato line, and that shows up in the aroma: sweet, creamy gelato dessert layered with tropical Zkittlez candy and citrus-grape notes. Caryophyllene, limonene, and linalool back that up, giving you a terpene profile built for relaxing, euphoric, balanced effects. This is an indica-dominant F2, so expect the Zelato character to run through the whole pack, just expressed differently plant to plant.
Being an F2, this pack throws a wider range than a stabilized cross, so expect variation in structure, resin, and terp expression across the twelve seeds. Look for plants that lean into that dense, heavy bud structure with the strongest gelato-candy nose, those are your keepers. Some will lean more toward the dessert-sweet side, others toward the tropical Zkittlez-citrus side. Run the whole pack if you can, that's how you find the standout.
Flower time runs 7 to 8 weeks, with high yield potential if you stay on top of it. This one wants indoor training, topped early, strong airflow, and lower humidity in flower. Feed it steady and give the colas support, the buds get dense and heavy. Difficulty is moderate, and being regular F2 seeds, you'll need to sex your plants and do real pheno work.
Worth knowing: skip this pack if you're not prepared to sex plants and cull, regular F2 seeds mean males in the mix and real variation to sort through, not a shelf-ready uniform crop.
The window: Federal law under Section 781 shuts down interstate cannabis seed sales in November 2026, and when that happens, Seeds Here Now stops selling seeds entirely. Packs like this Elato F2, built off a wider Zelato gene pool you won't find repackaged elsewhere, go with it. No restocks after the deadline, what's here now is what's left. If you want to hunt this line, grab the pack and get it in the ground, don't wait on this one.
